For Drilling Depths up to 7x Diameter!
SGS Tool Company adds to its High Performance Drill line with the introduction
of Ice-Carb, An Internal Coolant Drill for drilling depths up to 7 x Diameter. The
tool’s unique geometry features enhanced coolant flow and chip removal. ICe-Carbs
are coated with SGS’ exclusive Ti-NAMITE-A (AlTiN) tool coating for higher
thermal stability and greater wear resistance in deep hole drilling. The
tool’s drilling depth potential eliminates the need for pecking in most
applications and the corner protection increases tool life.
