New 3 Flute End Mills
for Aluminum, Non-Ferrous,
and Non-Metallic Material
SGS announces its 3 Flute End Mills for Aluminum, Non-Ferrous, and Non-Metallic Material, including Aluminum Alloys, Plastics, Copper, Brass, and Bronze.
The S-Carb 3 Flute with unique symmetrical end gashing creates improved balance at high spindle speeds, improved workpiece finish through better balance, and is more effective plunging vs. conventional designs.
With a SGS engineered flute design, S-Carb 3 Flute allows for effective chip removal at high feed rates and lower cutting forces than comparable products.
The S-Carb 3 Flute is available from stock uncoated and coated with SGS Ti-NAMITE-B Tool coating (TiB2 Titanium Diboride). The CNC ground corner radius on the S-Carb Series 43C offers a selection of popular lengths and corner radii. Joining the Corner Radius are Square End 3 Flute S-Carbs in both Fractional and Metric sizes. Resharpening services are also available from SGS.

SGS Opens New Toronto-Area
Stocking Warehouse in Port Perry - Ontario, Canada
Owned and operated by the SGS Tool Company, the newly opened
SGS Toronto warehouse is located east of Toronto, approximately
15 minutes north of Oshawa in Port Perry. This facility will
support the Ontario and Quebec distribution network for next-day
service of SGS Tool Company’s solid carbide end mills, drills,
burs and high performance products.
This
Toronto warehouse will enable SGS to increase availability
of product from its line of 13,000 fractional and metric
tools and continue to meet changing tooling demands within
the Canadian marketplace. SGS continually monitors inventory
to ensure the most popular products are available to meet

Distributors (AD) recognized SGS Tool Company with the
Supplier of the Year Performance Award for 2004-2005
at their Industrial Supply Division (ISD) North American
Meeting held in Dallas, TX on September 14 to September
16, 2005. A-D is dedicated to providing marketing
leadership to both Affiliates (distributors) and Preferred
Suppliers (manufacturers). A-D sponsors a series of programs
and events to stimulate sales and marketing excellence
as well as encourage closer working relationships between
Affiliates and Preferred Suppliers.
Thomas
Haag, President of SGS Tool Company, accepted the Award at
the meeting on behalf of SGS Tool. “Thank you, to all
of our associates, for making this happen”, said Haag. “While
the sales team is worthy of credit, it takes everyone and every
department for this award to happen.”
SGS was nominated by AD for the Supplier of the Year Performance Award based on Sales Performance for the 2004-2005 AD year.
